  if you haven't tried the burning,
  you know not the sacrifice —
  how the awakenings
  burden you to rise.
  
  if you haven't touched the silence
  you know not the courage —
  how the blossoms bend and cry
  down the shadowy river
  between the singing reeds
  and dancing dragonflies.
